DEVARTLab Announces a Strategic Partnership with Wadi El Neel Benta to Redefine the Future of Healthcare in Egypt

In one of the most significant strategic alliances within Egypt’s pharmaceutical industry, DEVARTLab has announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with Wadi El Neel Benta, aimed at strengthening the availability of essential medicines and supporting the country’s healthcare ecosystem.


The agreement was signed in the presence of several distinguished leaders from the healthcare sector, including Dr. Hala Zayed, former Minister of Health and Population, and Dr. Tamer Essam, former Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA). Also attending were the top executives from both companies: Major General Dr. Tarek Bakry, CEO and Managing Director of Wadi El Neel Benta; Dr. Hussein Farag, Chairman of DEVARTLab; Dr. Sameh El Zaher, CEO of DEVARTLab Group; and senior management teams from both sides.


Under this agreement, DEVARTLab will take full responsibility for the distribution and marketing of all Wadi El Nile Penta products across the Egyptian market. These include a wide range of essential and life-saving medications listed under the Essential Drug List (EDL), such as treatments for hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and cholesterol, which play a crucial role in improving patients’ lives.


Dr. Hussein Farag emphasized that this partnership reflects DEVARTLab’s unwavering commitment to supporting Egypt’s national pharmaceutical industry and expanding access to safe and effective medications. He noted that the collaboration between DEVARTLab and Wadi El Neel Benta represents a shared vision to empower Egyptian patients, driven by the core principle of Patient Centricity in every stage of operation.


From his side, Major General Dr. Tarek Bakry expressed his pride in this alliance, highlighting that it marks a strategic milestone in uniting the expertise and capabilities of two leading Egyptian pharmaceutical companies with extensive experience in manufacturing and marketing. He added that the partnership aims to achieve local pharmaceutical self-sufficiency and strengthen the nation’s capacity to ensure the continuous availability of essential medicines for every citizen.
